I currently work as a Teaching fellow. My experience is working within different services such as Sexual Trauma, Drug and Alcohol intervention service, Children's & Adolescents mental health service & providing Employers with mental health training & consultancy.

My initial years of working were with children and young people, specifically those in crisis and with experience of trauma and abuse. More recently, my experience has been focused on adults who are unpicking childhood trauma and working with current issues such as workplace stress or relationship breakdowns.
Our core training is in Person Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy, trusting in you to reach your own decisions whilst also challenging you in a safe and non judgmental way is our way of working.
We are Registered members of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their Ethical guidelines (BACP) www.bacp.

Sessions typically run for 50mins, usually weekly at the same time and day, however adjustments can be made. Currently sessions are only via:

Whether it's current situations that you have going on, or past experiences, counselling provides you a safe place to reflect and process life events. As your therapist, I facilitate this process, developing a relationship with you that promotes personal growth and a deeper understanding of who you are. Psychotherapy is often seen as very similar to Counselling, the main difference is that Psychotherapy facilitates a deeper understanding and exploration of your experiences and how they have impacted you.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through low intensity CBT therapy and treatment, I am able to provide you with evidence based interventions that are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Before you embark on therapy, I offer an initial session to help you decide weather or not I am the right therapist for you. I also offer a sliding scale and one free slot a week to those who can not afford anything (waiting list may apply).
Initial sessions: 30 mins £30
Individual therapy sessions: 50 mins £60
